Privacy Policy

ResumeATS processes every resume directly in your browser. This page explains how data moves through the product.

Everything happens locally

Uploads are parsed with pdf.js and mammoth.js inside the browser. Files never leave your device or hit our servers.

The analysis engine runs entirely in your tab, so closing the tab wipes the working copy instantly.

  • No background uploads or cloud syncs
  • No resume text written to application logs
  • No trackers inside parsing workers

What we collect (and what we do not)

We only capture aggregate product analytics—page views, device type, and coarse region—to understand demand.

We do not collect resume content, job history, contact details, or job descriptions.

  • Collected: aggregate traffic metrics via Ahrefs Web Analytics
  • Not collected: resume files, pasted text, ATS scores, job postings, personal identifiers

Local history & storage

Your last ten checks live in IndexedDB so you can restore previous scores.

Use the “Clear all history” action or your browser privacy settings to remove that data at any time.

Third-party services

We rely on a few infrastructure providers that may process limited metadata.

  • Ahrefs Web Analytics (privacy-focused usage metrics)
  • Vercel (hosting + CDN request logs for uptime monitoring)
  • Vercel AI Gateway (optional AI suggestions—only the text you submit to that feature is forwarded)

Your choices

Because processing is local, you remain in control. Clearing your browser storage or using a private window wipes everything.

Analytics scripts can be blocked with any tracker blocker without breaking the app.

  • Clear IndexedDB from browser settings > privacy
  • Use incognito sessions for fully ephemeral checks
  • Download and delete resumes locally before sharing devices
